Federal Flood Commission, Ministry of Water Resources got CDWP’s nod to implement four concept proposals. This approval has been accorded by the Planning Commission of Pakistan, in the meeting of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) held on March 03, 2020. These four concept proposals include:
i) Sino-Pak Smart Water Management Project
ii) Installation of 45 No. Flood Telemetry Hydromet/ Early Warning Stations
iii) Operationalization of National Water Policy by demonstrating urban flood management through rainwater harvesting and downstream flood reduction in Islamabad region
iv) Flood Protection Sector Project-III as a part of National Flood Protection Plan-IV
