Functions

• Render expert technical advice on Power Engineering matters referred by the MoWR including M/o Energy (Power Div.). Main work areas include the following:
• Technical and professionally viable advice on various feasibility reports/studies, power project related schemes (including HP);
• PC-IIs, PC-Is related to generation, transmission and distribution projects including HP schemes of WAPDA
• Comments/advice on policy and regulatory related matters.

•  Inquiries/Investigations on Operational & Technical matters of WAPDA (Power/HP Projects) including Audit Para inquires
•  Evaluation and examination of PC-IIs, PC-Is for power dispersal from upcoming hydropower projects;
•  To support the Ministry in better decision making by removing technical deficiencies of project PC-Is, PC-IIs etc. The details activities performed by FFC in year 2023 may seen an Annual Report 2023.
